3D Art Works

In this section, I am going to post some of my renderings of 3D models done with/without texturing & digital sculptures. The work displayed here is done in my free time or for learning new techniques & also for pleasure. 
Modeling Software used - Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3d Max, Blender, Pixologic Zbrush
Texturing Software used - Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Adobe Photoshop

  • Donuts with coffee -

Created donuts with coffee model using software - Blender

  • GrassLand -

Created grassland tileable model using software - 3d Max and Photoshop

  • Oak Trees -


Created oak trees model using software - 3d Max and Photoshop

  • Rocks -

Created rocks model using software - 3d Max and Photoshop

  • Leather Bottle -

Created leather bottle model using software - 3d Max, ZBrush and Substance Painter
  • Chair -


Created very high-poly chair model in 3ds Max by keeping the details like welds, screws, net,etc. in mind. Tris: 50 lacs

  • Grimoire (W.I.P.) -
This is a Grimoire book which has magic spells and invocations. For this I am using Maya software along with Substance Painter for texturing. Here final textures along with high res model is remaining.

  • Forcebot (W.I.P.) -

This is a very old robot toy known as "Forcebot" which I had when I was in school. I have created the 3D model using 3ds Max software with basic WIP textures. Here final realistic texturing is remaining.
  • Machine -

This is a machine model made using 3ds Max and textured using Substance Painter.

  • Used Electric Guitar -



This 3d model of Electric Guitar is an exact copy of an existing 8 year old Electric Guitar with dust, weathering effects, breakage, etc. Here I have used Substance Painter for advanced texturing to replicate the exact look and feel with the original. Other software that I have used are 3ds Max and Photoshop. Tris: 19352 tris, Texture Size = 2048x2048

  • Garrison Character from Battle Chasers: Night War -

Garrison character from Battle Chasers: Night War using 3ds Max for low-poly model, used ZBrush to add details like clothing folds and then baked onto the low-poly mesh in Normal map, added Specular map to add proper shininess to the whole character using Photoshop and rendered using Marmoset Toolbag. Tris: 7912 tris, Texture Size = 2048x2048

  • Fire Hydrant -


Fire Hydrant created using 3ds Max for low-poly modeling, Zbrush for high-poly modeling, Photoshop for textures and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Tris: 3382 tris

  • Night Dress 01 -


Clothing created using Marvelous Designer. This clothing is created from actual clothing references with proper seams and measurements.
  • Sculpture03
Softwares used: 3D Max & Zbrush
"Sculpture03" is another sculpting practice model created in Zbrush. References from the internet used. 3D Model created from scratch. Base mesh created in 3D Max.

  • 3D Disguises
Software used: 3D Max & Adobe Photoshop
Created 3d models of disguises by using premade head mesh in Max. Hand painted textures created in Photoshop. Each model is having a single diffuse texture of size 256 by 256. Concept sketches were made which can be seen under 2D Label.
  • Hippopotamus
Software used: 3D Max & Zbrush
I have never ever seen any 3d high-poly model of hippopotamus on the web. As I like hippos, I have decided to create 3d model/sculpture of hippo. This is another animal model created by me. I have used 3D Max to create the low-poly model & ZBrush for high-poly sculpting purposes.

  • Freddy Krueger

& 3D Max
I have been learning ZBrush for quite some time & decided to create something from polyspheres for practice purpose. I have used polypainting method to texture the face. The hat was modeled in 3d max & the renders were done from Zbrush.
  • The Family of Rabbids
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
The references of rabbids created here are taken from Ubisoft's website. Creating the carrots & the family of rabbids was my own idea. I have modeled the rabbids, carrots & composited them in Photoshop.
  • Hair
Software used: Maya 2009
Realistic hair created for my anime character - Rena.
  • Game Environment Model
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
This is a game environment model created from references. 3D modeling & texturing created from scratch. Tri count = 13400 or Poly count = 6700 & one 1024x1024 texture sheet & one 512x512 texture sheet used.
  • Sculpture02
Softwares used: 3D Max & Mudbox
"Sculpture02" is another sculpting practice model created in Mudbox. References from the internet used. 3D Model created from scratch. Base mesh created in 3D Max.

  • Sculpture01
Softwares used: 3D Max & Mudbox
"Sculpture01" is created for sculpting practice. References from the internet used. 3D Model created from scratch. Base mesh created in 3D Max & high-poly sculpting done in Mudbox.

  • Male Ecorshe - Human anatomy study
Softwares used: 3D Max, Mudbox & ZBrush
"Male Ecorshe" model was created for learning the anatomy of human beings. Base mesh (Low-poly) was created in 3D Max & sculpting (High-poly) was done in Mudbox. References from the internet was used. I have used ZBrush to render Male Ecorshe's model as my sculpting details are more visible.
  • Kenshin - Chibi version

Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
"Kenshin" is a manga/anime(Japanese cartoon) character from series "Rurouni Kenshin". This is a low poly character created in 3D Max. Hand-painted texturing from scratch was done in Photoshop. References were used from the internet & some custom changes were made to the 3D model to look more like the chibi version of the Kenshin.
  • Rena - Manga character
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
"Rena" is a Japaneses manga/anime(cartoon) characeter from series ".hack//sign". Modeling was done 3D Max & texturing from scratch was done in Photoshop. References was used from the internet.
  • Frosty - Game Character Model
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
"Frosty - Game Character Model was created for game art challenge on “cgtantra” website. Reference images used. Low-poly model created in 3D Max with tri count as 3099 (tri budget of 3500) Hand painted textures created from scratch using Photoshop. Some modifications like the texturing were done after the challenge was over.
  • Stag - Animal
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
"Stag" is a simple 3d animal model created in 3D Max. Texturing done from scratch in Photoshop. No image planes used.
  • Unicorn
Softwares used: 3D Max
“Unicorn” – Showpiece character created using 3D Max. Front reference sketch taken from the net
  • WhiteStar


Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
“WhiteStar” – Spaceship from “Babylon 5” series. Blueprints taken from net. 3D model created in 3D Max. Procedural texturing method used
  • Fiat500
Softwares used: 3D Max & Photoshop
Fiat500 created fromt the tutorials on the net for the study of hard surface modeling. Some textures created from scratch.
